Based in our head office in Laverton North, Nufarm is currently looking to recruit a Group Financial Reporting Manager who will hold the key responsibility for the timely and accurate completion of the company’s external financial reports. The position will work closely with the group’s regional finance teams, auditors, as well as other external advisors and internal stakeholders. The job incumbent will also be responsible for guiding group regional finance teams on the implementation of group accounting policies and reporting requirements. The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and will have the possibility of working in Nufarms highly flexible hybrid working arrangements.

What will you be doing?

• Ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation and reporting for an ASX listed company
• Liaising with group external auditors and other advisors on key accounting matters
• Seeing to the completion of accounting papers on key audit matters
• Designing, building, implementing and testing a robust public company grade financial control environment
• Maintaining and applying knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
• Liaising with and guiding regional finance teams across the globe
• Assisting with the application of group accounting policies throughout the group’s subsidiaries
• Preparing internal and external financial reporting for management, the board of directors, audit and risk committee, and for external service partners
• Developing, implementing and upgrading financial systems as part of Nufarm’s finance transformation projects
• Representing the accounting function in M&A analysis and integration
• Overseeing special projects as assigned

What do you bring?

• CA or CPA qualified with at least 5 years’ experience
• Experience with Global Corporate Financial Reporting
• Experience with external financial reporting requirements for publicly listed company
• Experience with multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction consolidations
• Experience with debt capital markets and corporate tax laws
• Expert in highly technical accounting areas
• Expert in accounting policy and accounting estimates concepts
• Track record of developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, controls and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with financial modelling including valuation modelling
• Ability to drive projects to completion, manage competing priorities and provide guidance to the team and business on prioritization
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Experience working across a matrix structure with many cross functional relationships
• A creative, enthusiastic and open mindset
