We're seeking a talented individual to fill a part-time, 3-month contract role with the potential for extension. If you excel in understanding training needs, crafting innovative L&D programs, and fostering growth, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs for individuals and teams, ensuring everyone receives the support needed to thrive.
  • Develop a comprehensive Training Strategy and Calendar, focusing on technical training, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, wellbeing programs, and other areas vital for holistic development.
  • Establish a Health and Safety training matrix, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and prioritizing the well-being of our team.
  • Enhance the onboarding experience for new team members, ensuring they feel empowered and welcomed from day one.
  • Design and implement a competency framework tailored to empower and uplift RayGen's team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Qualifications in Training, HR, or Learning and Development.
  • Experience: Bring at least 5 years of experience to the table, ideally within an engineering or technical environment.
  • Skills: Focus on people development, nurturing individuals, teams, and leaders to reach their full potential. Showcase exceptional analytical skills, demonstrating your ability to assess organization-wide training needs and create targeted programs that resonate.
  • Competencies: Strong organizational skills, coupled with excellent administrative abilities. Thrive in problem-solving scenarios, adept at prioritization, and consistently meet deadlines. Embrace your motivation as a self-starter who can work independently while fostering collaboration within a diverse team environment.

Working Arrangements:

  • Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time role, requiring 15 hours per week. We're open to discussing scheduling options that work for you.
  • Embrace the opportunity for remote work, with occasional visits to our Hawthorn East office to connect with the team. Flexibility and adaptability are important.
