ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent full-time position that is DIDO daily, from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, as Operator – Power Systems, the purpose of this role is to safely execute production activities according to the schedule and operate the physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by HSEC requirements, the operations standards and operating procedures.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- To demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures
- Understands the condition of the asset and the work required for the day
- Question gaps and routines not done
- Understand scope and competency required, SAP operation long text, job hazards and timeframe & conduct personal risk assessment for Clearance To Work Procedures
ABOUT YOU
- Advanced Boiler Operations High Risk Work License
- Turbine Operations High Risk Work License
- Has previously worked in a team and has contributed to projects
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in power generation
- Holds or can work towards holding: Isolation and hot work competency & the required CPK’s and APK’s of the area
