The opportunity:
As the Signalling Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of signalling systems within the rail industry. This position requires strong technical expertise in railway signalling engineering combined with leadership skills to manage the teams of engineers in NSW and QLD and ensure the safe and efficient operation of signalling systems.

The role is based at either of our Sydney or Brisbane locations, and we also welcome a hybrid flexible working model.

  • Lead and manage both teams of signalling engineers in NSW & QLD to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of signalling systems in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safety and reliability of railway signalling infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on signalling system design, configuration, and integration.
  • Champion a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in railway signalling engineering, including design, implementation, and maintenance of signalling systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of signalling principles, standards, and technologies, such as ETCS, CBTC, and ATP.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
