The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This is a site-based role working with our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team and wider business on site on the EnergyConnect project. EnergyConnect is a new energy infrastructure project that will enable greater sharing of electricity between NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

In your new role as the Operations Administrator, you will provide high-quality reporting and analytics administration service to the health, safety, and environment (HSE) team and wider business. The position provides the services of preparing reporting, analytics and HSE system administration functions and any additional HSE administration support to the HSE team. The position will support and ensure that all reporting and analytics administration services are provided in a timely, efficient, and customer centric manner in accordance with Transgrid policies, procedures and relevant legislation.

The nature of the work activities dictates that the position has a significant degree of autonomy and as such must be a “self-starter” who is highly organised and has a high level of attention to detail in ensuring the Team and its outputs are timely and accurate.

Skills & Experience

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent and/or relevant knowledge and competence gained through experience
  • A current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Proficiency in the use of relevant corporate information systems
  • Sound knowledge of and proven experience in PC software i.e., Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Advanced Excel experience and skills
  • Ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Able to work in a team environment effectively
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Transgrid policies and procedures
  • Team player and understanding of site-based requirements
  • Willing to participate in an adhoc environment/ fast paced.
