About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Administrator to join the newly formed Queensland Training team. Based at our Brisbane Office and working closely with Group Recruitment, HSE, and Training functions, the Learning Administrator provides learning support to our Queensland Workforce during their onboarding and to our sites by booking external training. This role is based at the Whitehaven Brisbane Office, 12 Creek Street, and reports to the Project Manager – QLD Training.

This role is based in our Brisbane office.

What You’ll Do

  • Upload/maintain training records for our workers during their onboarding phase (e.g., Standard 11 Inductions, LMS Transcripts and Certificates of Competency/Statements of Attainment) and for our centrally based workforce.
  • Monitor the Queensland Training inbox.
  • Book external training for workers when requested by our sites.
  • Produce reports on expiring competencies.

What You’ll Bring

  • Understanding of Mining/Heavy Industry Operations and common types of training required by Mining/Heavy Industry operations.
  • Demonstrated experience using a Learning Management System (experience using SAP SuccessFactors will be highly regarded).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail, written and oral communication skills.
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
