About the role

We are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to support our operations. As a Contract Administrator your core purpose is to protect value and optimise upside for Zinfra at an operational level. You will work closely with operational teams and Commercial colleagues to provide expert analysis and support in relation to the management of Zinfra's commercial risks and objectives.

The role can be based from Sydney or Brisbane.




Key responsibilities include

  • Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager in risk & opportunity identification, assessment and its ongoing management
  • Undertaking procurement, including negotiating with key suppliers and subcontractors
  • Working closely with the Project Manager and other project team members during delivery of a project or O&M program through the preparation of payment claims, contractual claims and resolving disputes
  • Creating and maintaining EOT and Variation claims and registers to ensure timely resolution
  • Educating colleagues and stakeholders to improve commercial acumen and risk management across Zinfra




About you

We are seeking someone who has experience in the utility or civil infrastructure sectors with a tertiary education in law, engineering, commerce or finance. Additionally, you will ideally have:

  • Successful experience in a Commercial or Contract Administration role at a project or corporate level
  • The ability to triage, prioritise and solve complex commercial problems
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication and negotiation skills
  • Evidence of developing and maintaining mutually beneficial internal & external relationships
  • History of working autonomously, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
