The Role:

We're seeking a Product Manager to join our Product Team to be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.

Iress organizes software delivery based on the direction set by the Product Team whose primary role is to research the market, competitive landscape and our users needs, to define product vision and strategy and with Iress' delivery teams translate this vision into brilliant software products.

What you will be doing:

  • Using your product expertise, analyze market and competitive conditions, perform client and user research to develop strong product visions and roadmaps.

  • Engaging with stakeholders, both internal and external, to understand the market perspective in developing new products and to help drive the success of existing products

  • Partner effectively with Product Experience Team/Researchers, helping to define the problems/user journeys we should be seeking to understand, and to validate decision-making

  • Participate in product discovery workshops with the clients and users, as well as design and engineering teams and clearly document decisions made

  • Contribute to, and validate the delivery planning activities for the product/product area

  • Coordination and planning of product communications, ensuring consistent and relevant messaging and language.

  • Monitor and promote product metrics on how well Iress solutions deliver value to clients.

What you will need:

  • Experience and a solid understanding of Product Management

  • Digital & client facing technology experience

  • Strong planning and delivery management experience

  • Ability to analyse and document business processes to determine product improvements & desired outcomes

  • Previous experience of Agile methodologies would be advantageous

  • Experience working in financial services is highly regarded
