Sales and Business Development Manager

Working as a part of the senior leadership team within our Sydney Metro contracting services business, the Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships and promoting cross-unit collaboration. It encompasses the sale of asphalt products directly into the Sydney Metro market from our Rosehill asphalt plant and will also act as the key interface for the NSW business for strategic clients in order to identify new business opportunities for individual business units.

What you’ll bring

• Ideally, you will have Commercial, Business Development or Engineering qualifications
• Prior experience in the field of sales, negotiations and account management
• Demonstrated ability in a similar role where you have managed revenue funnels and grown CRM pipeline opportunities
• Ability to undertake client research and provide relevant information and feedback to the business
• Exposure to estimating would also be highly regarded
• Previous exposure to working with technical and operational personnel to bring products and services to the market
• Promoting and pushing innovative solutions and value-add services for clients
• Relationship focused with the ability to communicate and collaborate internally and externally while complying with policies/procedures
• Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment
