Quality Assurance Officer – 2 Year Fixed-Term Contract

Join us as a Quality Assurance Officer and be the voice of the patient. In this role, you will play a meaningful part in our mission to improve the quality of patients’ healthcare. You will supervise and sign off each batch of medicine as if it were for your own family. Accountabilities:

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will work within our established sterile manufacturing facilities, ensuring all products released for sale or further processing align with cGMP standards, product quality specifications, and regulatory requirements. You will review and approve related technical / GMP documents, collate and interpret data, provide independent assurance of the maintenance of appropriate quality standards, and make product and material release decisions. You will also provide leadership and support for internal and external inspection preparations and advise on deviations using professional discernment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a science / technical field such as Pharmacy, Chemistry or Biolog

  • Prior experience in Good Manufacturing/Good Distribution/Good Laboratory practice and/or compliance managemen

  • A level of technical process understanding in manufacturing or packing or warehouse/distribution or Quality Contro

  • Knowledge of and application of quality systems, including change control, deviation management and New Product Introduction

  • Awareness /knowledge of regulatory interactions and compliance procedures and ability to apply this in an operations environment

  • Knowledge of other areas of the Supply Chain, including groups such as regulatory, Global Quality, Manufacturing, Supply and Capability etc.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working in a Lean environment, and knowledge of Lean principles and tools would be of benefit, but not crucial
