Oncology Account Manager (Breast Cancer)

Join our globally renowned Oncology Business Unit, which is leading the rapid business growth of our enterprise and ever-evolving industry. As the Oncology Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating clinical demand for Oncology brands within key hospital accounts (hub and spoke), proactively identifying business opportunities and recommending solutions to drive and develop business.

Accountabilities:

You will be accountable for increasing the prescribing of your brand through effective promotion to senior/influential customers within a defined set of key accounts. You will cultivate relationships with key internal and external stakeholders that will realise business outcomes in the short, medium and long term. You will also be responsible for the development of Local Advocates in allocated accounts.

The territories will be covering North London, including, (Charing Cross, Barts, UCLH and private hospitals), as well as Mount Vernon KA and Cambridge KA.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Experience and success ideally within Oncology
  • Secondary care sales experience with a sound knowledge of key account management within a specialty care environment
  • Proven track record of sales & business management success in speciality secondary care
  • Self-starter and effective problem solver - responsible for own actions and results
  • Full driving licence
  • ABPI qualification

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of influencing successfully in a complex organisation
  • A flexible approach in being able to adapt as the brands develop in the market place
  • Business/commercial related degree
  • Wellard’s diploma or equivalent
