Introduction to Role:

Join our dynamic Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) team, where we ensure the smooth and secure running of all Infrastructure, Security, IT Operations, and End User Services. As part of our in-house "Ask IT" team, you'll be responsible for enhancing the end-user experience and delivering top-notch IT services. Accountabilities:

As an IT Support Engineer, you'll be the face of IT for our customers. You'll work as part of the customer-facing team, acting as the main connection between the customer and various processes, tools, and groups of IT. You'll analyze customer needs, triage technical queries, liaise with other IT Teams to resolve faults, and ensure all customer interactions are recorded within ServiceNow. You'll also maintain the AskIT asset inventory and support local onboarding and offboarding IT processes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Degree level education within IT or equivalent experience

- Superior communication skills

- Ability to work in a customer-oriented support role

- Validated knowledge and expertise within a Microsoft Windows environment

- Ability to support Windows 10, 11 and Mac operating system and Lenovo desktop and laptop hardware

- Knowledge in supporting Microsoft Office applications especially Office 2016 and MS Office 365

- Experience of cloud-based storage solutions such as MS OneDrive and Box

- Knowledge of client antivirus software within an enterprise environment

- Knowledge and experience of ServiceNow or other ITSM toolset

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Experience in setting up and deploying mobile devices

- Prior customer facing tech bar or IT Training experience
