Introduction to Role:

Join us as a Business Insights Manager in our Business Innovation Unit. In this role, you will be a part of the Data, Insights and Analytics team, providing relevant insights and analysis to enable an optimal diagnosis of our business performance. You will be responsible for analysing different data sources to generate insights aimed at delivering competitive advantage. This role also involves leading the development of market research projects to answer important business questions and contributing to critical business processes connected to brand planning and financial planning.

Accountabilities:

As a Business Insights Manager, you will generate insights on patients, customers, NHS, brands, markets and TA by analysing multiple data sources to inform and influence business decisions. You will design high-quality market research to increase business understanding and support brand strategy and marketing mix decisions. You will deliver performance analytics on priority indications by identifying patterns within the data, uncovering insights/brand opportunities and articulating useful recommendations. You will also support strategic planning and financial planning processes, introduce innovation in the business insights space, drive compliant processes according to AZ SoPs and Code of conduct, and contribute towards the delivery of the annual P&L, Contribution and Sales targets.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Several years of experience in analytical or insights generation roles
• Knowledge of NHS and the pharma industry
• Ability to distil impactful insights out of different data sets
• Proven track record of working with senior stakeholders in a complex environment
• Self-starter who can face challenges with a positive attitude

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Marketing/business related master degree
• Breast Cancer therapy area knowledge / experience
• Experience working in commercial alliance teams
• Sales & Marketing experience
