IT/Digital Senior Business Partner

Introduction to Role:

Are you ready to bridge the gap between business and IT, enabling the creation and delivery of an efficient IT strategy? We are seeking an IT/Digital Senior Business Partner to help transform the EMEA region through the analysis of sophisticated business and system opportunities. This role offers the chance to enhance and improve processes and technology solutions in line with strategic goals, working with Site IT Business Partners to ensure that the solutions delivered to the business are efficient and effective, meeting customer expectations.

Accountabilities:

As an IT/Digital Senior Business Partner, you will maintain a deep understanding of the business across the EMEA region as well as the application landscape and capabilities. You will lead process and technical discussions, facilitate solution definition, and integrate business processes, roles, and technology to ensure business objectives are met. You will also identify new solutions and improve current processes/solutions, ensuring they are fully optimised and scalable.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Validated experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques to enable business change
  • Proven experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and critical thinking to deliver outstanding results
  • Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, use cases & digital opportunities
  • Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
  • Experience of working in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or relevant manufacturing experience (industry processes)
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally pharmaceutical
  • Experience of virtual teamwork to lead, shape and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience of mentoring, coaching, or developing others
  • Able to articulate a vision, set direction and express strategies in clear and compelling ways to multiple teams in the organisation
  • Experience of handling high levels of risk by making sophisticated judgements, developing innovative solutions and applying a comprehensive cross-functional and industry understanding.
  • Knowledge / practitioner of Lean techniques including process mapping (BPM), problem solving.
  • Portfolio management capabilities, including project management, operational and finance capabilities, strong planning and budgeting skills to develop business case and track benefits realisation
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively cross-functional, and demonstrated influential and networking skills to establish excellent internal and external relationships to find the right expertise to support initiatives
  • Demonstrated learning agility, change resilience, working in ambiguity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across countries, cultures and organisational functions
  • Ability to both think strategically, working at a global/regional level, and to dive deep into operational issues when required, moving quickly between the two levels of working

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Degree in relevant discipline or formal certification in business analysis practice
  • AGILE Project Management Certification and practical usage of Agile Methodology
  • Understanding of the principles of Product Management
  • Lean Manufacturing certification or Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Consistent track record of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
  • Cross industry business awareness/business domain knowledge
  • Experienced in working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
  • Master’s degree
  • Engineering Capital Programme Management experiences
  • Experience working in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with GxP environments
  • Experience with Data Historians, MES, OT systems
