Do you enjoy being responsible for the full end-to-end customer engagement model from relationship development, account management through ongoing delivery?

As a Client Engagement lead, you are responsible for the client and client relationship while focusing on thought leadership and client satisfaction. You will work closely with the Energy Industry Leadership team to create, and drive integration with Accenture and Microsoft across a portfolio of strategic accounts. You will be assigned to one Client vertical, namely the Energy Sector.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and establish the Avanade brand within the Energy Sector.
  • Position the Avanade brand effectively through strategic client engagements.
  • Conduct extensive market research across multiple global markets focusing on the power of technology in the Energy Sector.
  • Lead thought leadership campaigns focussed on how Avanade can do what matters within the Energy industry through the power of people and technology to support creating a more sustainable and diverse energy future.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with our organization’s sustainability goals.


Skills and experiences

  • Deep understanding of energy markets, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
  • Extensive experience in the creation of targeted marketing initiatives to promote a client’s energy offerings, including gas, power, renewables, and carbon credits in Energy Trading for several commodities including gas, power and renewables.
  • Extensive customer management, experience including marketing, authoring white papers and industry reports using client insights to refine marketing strategies and product offerings.
  • Comfortable with VP/C-suite executives and develops business relationships.
  • Commercial, delivery & project management skills including multi-site, global delivery programs.
  • Successful track record in delivering complex, large-scale high-impact projects related to energy market outlooks, carbon markets, and innovative energy solutions.
  • Willingness to develop a solid understanding of Avanade solutions and offerings.
  • Ability to train other internal team resources to increase client leadership capacity and capability.
  • Desire to be client-facing and engage in both pre-sales and billable activity.
  • 5+ years’ experience leading and inspiring cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on marketing, communications, and reputation management to promote our energy offerings, including gas, power, renewables, and carbon credits.
