Job title: ESC Content Practitioner & Coordinator (Employee Service Centre)

Location: Preston (Hybrid)

Salary:Circa £27,500 dependant on experience

Referral Scheme Bonus: £1000

Grade:7

What you’ll be doing:

Creating and updating feature portal content (knowledge)

Supporting a variety of teams to create and review knowledge to ensure the articles meet the knowledge guidelines

Ensuring knowledge articles are up to date and accurate

Be the voice of the employee, managing knowledge feedback and taking action where required, this may include group calls or consultation with groups of employee to gain insight on how to improve the consumption of knowledge

Identifying trends in content consumption and preferred format and styles

Working alongside peers in the ESC operation and providing Portal and ServiceNow support where required

Provide training and support to team members to increase knowledge levels, supporting the multi-skilled helpdesk in the ESC

Develop and sustain strong working relationships and collaborate with colleagues to drive improvements within Shared Services and the wider business.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail (written + verbal)

Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive attitude, curiosity + eagerness to learn

Good proven IT skills, in particular MS Excel and MS Word

Experience of continuous improvement

Strong evaluation skills and ability to analyse data effectively

Desirable:

HTML Scripting knowledge or experience (or desire to learn)

Technical or administrative knowledge of ServiceNow

Change Management experience

The Employee Service centre (ECS) team:is the first point of contact as a help desk for BAE employees for anything HR related, payroll queries, time + attendance, talent + learning, expenses + contingent’s with multiple advisors for live chat / calls. Working as part of this team, the ESC Content Practitioner & Coordinator will support the evolution of the ESC portal by enhancing the user experience (UX) by increasing the content of self-help available along with the format of the content.
