About the role
We are looking for IT Operations Engineers at various levels to join us at an excitement time in our Airport IT history. We are currently recruiting an IT Operations team and are seeking Engineers at various levels. These roles may best suit IT generalists with a Microsoft or VMWare preference. The team will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing management and improvement of our IT infrastructure and systems.
What you'll be doing
  • System monitoring and Maintenance – Ensuring that our systems are operating well and applying preventative maintenance where and when required.
  • Incident Management - 3rd/4th Level technical escalation within our IT Support structure.
  • Infrastructure management – Manage and maintain our Infrastructure.
  • Security & Patch Management – In conjunction with our Cyber Security team, assure the security of our systems through management of IT Systems, Networks and Data.
  • Back-up and Recovery – Maintaining backup procedures, testing back-up and running DR exercises.
  • Capacity Planning – Monitoring system usage and trends, scaling, and growing infrastructure to meet needs.
What we're looking for

To apply for this role, you'll need.

  • Microsoft (Mainly Servers) – Server 2012 to present. With an understanding of the roles and features provided within Windows servers. For example, DHCP, DNS, GPO, Radius (NPS), Certificate services and DFS.
  • Virtualisation technologies – vSphere v7 onwards. Hypervisor management, Cluster management, Storage management and network management for VMWare.
  • Back-up and DR – Back-up and replication knowledge, Back-Up job creation and administration Back-Up storage Management, Restore Operations.
  • Systems Management – Patch Management, Monitoring, alerting and build.
  • Hardware Maintenance – Experience in managing and supporting Enterprise hardware Environments, such as Server and SAN.
