Aero Data Intern
The Aero team is part of the overall Commercial area of the business. The team is responsible for maximising passenger numbers at the airport, through managing relations with existing airlines, developing the airport's route network and airline portfolio and aiming to grow market share within our region.
- Work with the Aero and IT team to deliver improvements in data reporting and automation
- Understand the way we use data and the limitations we currently face
- Review and develop existing datasets and reporting functions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Creation of dashboards or automated reports to simplify monthly reporting, flight cancellations and specific airline performance monitoring tools.
- Candidates with a background in data science and data analytics.
- An interest in aviation is helpful but not essential.
- The successful candidate will be required to engage with a variety of teams across the business including IT, finance and business planning.

- Full training in the datasets that the team uses and how these interact with the daily delivery of the team objectives
- Exposure to behind-the-scenes airport operations and insight into how it runs day-to-day
