An opportunity has arisen within our People Team as a Diversity and Inclusion Facilitator during an exciting time of cultural change. The role is based at our Stratford HQ/Training facilities and will incorporate wider delivery across some of our network locations. Please note that this is a part time fixed term contract for a period of 6 months with the possibility to extend.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced facilitator to join our team at Greater Anglia as Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Facilitator. As a key member of the People Team, you will deliver our suite of cultural Greater Together D&I programmes in line with our strategic training plan to embed inclusive behaviour. You will bring an interactive and engaging facilitation style to this important role. You will act as the lead deliverer for all matters relating to Diversity, Equality, Equity, and Inclusion training at GA. This includes designing, implementing, and delivering related training material. You will educate colleagues on D&I topics using accelerated learning techniques and facilitation skills. You will work closely with the Head of Talent to deliver the existing D&I content and training plan. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to organise attendance and ensure full programme capacity on a weekly basis.

Additionally, you will administer training records, report on attendance and feedback, promote the programme through internal resources, as well as review and evaluate measures of success. You will be responsible for set up and set down of training rooms, ensuring a consistent and engaging learning experience for all delegates.

Agile working days are available, and you will be based in Greater Anglia’s core training facilities in London and across the route. This is a rewarding role for a skilled facilitator who is passionate about fostering a culture of inclusion in line with Greater Anglia’s diversity and inclusion strategy and new Team Code.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an individual who is an effective and resilient communicator, with the ability to deliver sessions confidently and build strong internal engagement. The ideal candidate will have organisational skills to deliver a series of ongoing training sessions and to drive cultural change set out in our Team Code. A passion for diversity and inclusion is key, as well as a confident and versatile facilitation style.

The successful candidate will have experience in group facilitation and be comfortable with designing and/or delivering training. Qualifications such as GTC, CIPD, CTP, TAP, NVQ Level 3-5 in learning design and delivery, or equivalent are beneficial to this role. Coaching experience would also be of benefit. Core numeracy and literacy skills are required, along with a proactive and innovative mindset. A Diversity & Inclusion qualification would be advantageous.
