In this role you will provide occupational medical adviser services for managers of (usually) specified customer base, on a wide range of Occupational Health issues. The aim is to contribute to improved occupational health management of employees, which leads to improved employee engagement, productivity, and attendance. To provide OH input into aspects of GTR planning, strategy and activity. To provide training, support and overall clinical guidance to other clinicians such as OHAs, nurses and support doctors including trainees.

To actively contribute to formulating strategies and initiatives that improve clinical governance and service delivery including the health and wellbeing of all staff.The impact of the work done by this role potentially extends to significant financial benefit in absence prevented, improved employee health and performance

The role is delivered through demonstrating GTR behaviours in the context of the GTR strategy. This means putting customers at the centre of everything we do, being accountable, getting the right things done effectively and efficiently and working with other people building trust and fostering collaboration. There is a focus on delivering high quality, effective and efficient OH and Wellbeing services.
