Role Purpose

This role is a fixed term contract due to finish in September 2025.

Accountable for organic growth and client retention, the Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing clients and ensuring that clients are set up to get the most out of Iress’ products and services. This role oversees day-to-day relationships with clients and works with clients to

cultivate future projects and qualify new opportunities. The Account Manager consults with other functions (including product support, client solutions and finance) to ensure mutual objectives are met.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

  • Develop strong day-to-day relationships with clients to understand their overall strategy, challenges and priorities and where we can deliver solutions. Managing complex relationships at all levels.

  • Maintain regular contact with the Iress user base by way of proactive client visits, telephone calls and emails. In line with a structured account management plan.

  • Develop, coordinate and implement actionable new business growth plans to achieve and exceed quarterly targets. Incorporating client retention, and uplift from increased usage and the sale of additional solutions.

  • Apply the Iress commercial ways of working in all activities including engaging with clients via our chosen methodology, process and tool-set.

  • Manage commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting for clients. Pursue revenue opportunities through to completion, involving internal colleagues as appropriate.

  • Responsible for managing revenue related client requests, ensuring all information to execute billing and licensing requests is prepared and authorised, and reviewing client invoices.

  • Demonstrate first class communication and presentation skills to proactively run Operational meetings.

  • Display a strong understanding of the client's workflow, internal structure and identify key decision makers.

  • Key contact point for clients for all new projects, feature requests and escalation of issues. Supporting the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions to the market by establishing clear adoption and account plans.

  • Proactively educate clients on new release functionality or features and benefits this brings to their business. Effectively articulate Iress roadmaps, enhancements and upgrades to clients and users at all levels. Manages upgrade processes where required.

  • Work with clients to implement and ensure adoption of Iress products.

  • Is a point of escalation and information for client support teams and may be occasionally required to assist with support enquiries to ensure optimal client experience is maintained.

  • The ability to effectively work under pressure and to targets, ensuring that excellent service is delivered.

  • Experience working in a project environment in the Financial Markets sector is desirable but not essential.

  • Ability to prioritise, delegate, respond to and follow-up issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

  • Be self-motivated and show initiative to liaise with clients on understanding their requirements.

  • Experienced with working cross-functionally to bring about the right results for clients.
