Department Description:

The Private Banking Software Engineering team is looking for an innovative and passionate full stack Java engineer for the Model Management application team. The candidate will be working with an exciting team of developers in an agile environment to solve business problems through innovation and modern engineering practices.

The successful candidate will have expertise and knowledge of full stack Java technologies, REST web services, database and messaging systems, automated testing and CI/CD integration and possess the ability to implement those methodologies across the development life cycle. The candidate must be able to step up to every challenge the position offers, meet deadlines and deliver quality code that meets JPMC standards.

This role will provide great potential for individual growth and exposure to cutting edge technologies like building Cloud native applications. Core Skills required:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience within Java based software development
• Full stack development expertise, with specific focus on Java technology (Core & EE) with Spring Frameworks (Spring Core & Spring Boot) as well as HTML/CSS, JavaScript UI and UI frameworks (React)
• Proficiency in REST web services, database (Oracle, Postgres) and messaging systems (Kafka)
• Knowledge of deploying applications to private and public cloud systems
• Experience with modern software development practices

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
