As part of the IPB Advisor Experience team, the Client Wealth Product Manager, is responsible for leading the efforts to improve the front-to-back digital offering for our Clients Portfolio Analytics including Performance, Portfolio Analytics, Client Reporting. You will be responsible for setting the product vision and partnering closely with the Product Managers to ensure the effective development of the product strategy. You will also play a critical part in the implementation of a third-party solution Temenos and J.P. Morgan’s Performance, Positions & Transactions data flows across Asia and EMEA delivering a strategic, standardized industry solution providing technology and operational efficiencies.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the investment management process and products. The objective is to create a seamless, interactive journey to expose client information and analytics into our Advisor & Client facing ecosystem. You will primarily lead and partner with the Product Managers and require consistent engagement with Technology and Operations through the entire product management lifecycle, ensuring businesses needs are met.

As part of the team, you will play a leading role of developing, maintaining, and promoting the analytical capabilities related to Performance, Portfolio Analytics and Client reporting. You will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and negotiate, and be able to work as an individual contributor as well as a team. Strong skills around the Agile framework, an equal appreciation of the discovery and execution process, and able to quantify delivery into success measures will also be key to deliver a successful product.

Core Responsibilities

  • Position the Client Wealth journey strategy for success. Create the structure to communicate the Product Vision to senior leadership and leverage the existing Product Cabinets to achieve effective collaboration and communication.
  • Defines strategy, operating model, and roadmap to achieve vision and business goals. Owns and drives the IPB Client Wealth roadmap to meet business and operational goals and provide a leading customer, Advisor, and operational experience. Partners with Product Managers, developers, and operations to deliver strategic and effiency driven processes.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted leader. Develop and maintain deep relationships with senior leaders in Advisory, Digital, Technology, Design and Operations across the International Region.
  • Understand client and advisor needs. Invests in a deep understanding of the business opportunity, Advisor & Client needs and competitive landscape to ensure a successful front-to-back solution is delivered

Necessary Qualifications

  • 7+ years in a Product Management, Technical, Strategy role, experience in financial services, preferably with experience in wealth management, asset management, digital banking, or a closely related business leading strategic or transformational change.
  • Experience working in or with Investment Products including Loans, Derivatives and Structured Products.
  • Extensive experience managing product delivery across multiple work streams with varying timelines, priorities, and complexities, ultimately launching new / enhanced product to market
  • Ability to prioritize projects, say ‘no’ when required, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals.
  • Experience in KPI frameworks such as OKRs to communicate measures of success.
  • Proven ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other organizations.
  • Influence peers with diverse points of view and build consensus.
  • Excellent leadership skills – of product, programs, projects, and teams.
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to crisply articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence.
  • Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and can execute on assignments independently and autonomously, ability to remain calm under intense pressure.
  • Strong understanding of different technological development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and design techniques with ability to successfully lead regardless of approach.
  • Experience in testing products – functional, integration and user-acceptance testing.
  • Strong working knowedge of position, transaction and performance data attributes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or Economics is preferred.
