Job Summary

  • As a Managing Director in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Treasury Management Office within the Corporate Client Banking and Specialized Industries (CCBSI), you will be tasked with fostering close partnerships with leaders across the J.P. Morgan franchise. Your role will encompass leading all business aspects and propelling the continuous expansion of the CCBSI Payments franchise in the EMEA region. As a part of the executive leadership, you will have the chance to develop and advance the business in a role that offers significant growth potential. Your analytical leadership and strategic executive skills will be crucial in this role.
  • The CCBSI EMEA Treasury Management Office Head – Managing Director in Corporate Client Banking (CCBSI) will be responsible for collaborating and partnering closely with leaders across the J.P. Morgan (JPM) franchise, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the business and driving the ongoing growth of the CCBSI Payments franchise in the EMEA region.
  • As Head of the CCBSI EMEA Treasury Management Office you will be an executive leader able to build and take the business forward in a role with extensive growth opportunity. You will be an analytical leader with executive strategic skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, mange & develop the CCBSI Payments franchise across EMEA.
  • Own and deliver against financial targets to drive top line revenues and bottom-line profit, improve cost efficiency and achieve excellent operating margin results.
  • Lead and manage the team across the region with their client acquisition and growth objectives, as well as with their fortress controls requirements including KYC excellence and other requirements in accordance with local policies and regulations.
  • Own accountability for the CCBSI Payments end-to-end client’s experience in EMEA from sales excellence through to optimal product delivery, onboarding and service
  • Maintain a strong risk & control culture, including proactive compliance and adherence to audit, regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Represent the firm as an Executive of the Commercial Bank in public and client forums and key client events in the region.
  • Lead by example, through personal involvement in client relationship management, new deal acquisition, hands on execution and support of teams for issue management.
  • Travel internationally as required.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • It is essential that you will be able to demonstrate extensive Treasury Services experience (global cash management, payments, Foreign Exchange (FX), traditional trade products etc.)
  • Proven payments background.
  • Proven experience working across multiple geographies with strong understanding of the EMEA region in particular.
  • Ability to take ownership of managing the business end to end.
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Proven leadership, management, execution and influencing skills. Strong people manager with a proven track record of managing in a multi-cultural, multi-geographic environment, developing talent, and supporting our diversity objectives.
  • Prudent risk and control judgment and ability to build a solid controls culture. Strong commercial judgement
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You will be a strategic thinker who supports the goals and direction of the firm
  • You will be able to demonstrate your ability to partner across lines of businesses and leverage internal resources.

  • Broader commercial banking product knowledge and/or experience would be an advantage – lending, capital markets, securities etc
