Job Summary:

As a Data and Analytics Product Manager within the Markets Client Portal team, you will promote digital transformation across Markets, focusing on automation, distribution, and execution. Your role will be pivotal in modernizing the client-facing platform, J.P. Morgan Markets (JPMM), where Markets products are digitally delivered to clients. You will lead the data strategy for J.P. Morgan Markets, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client digital behaviors and interactions. Your passion for using data will be instrumental in accelerating product development, promoting business growth, and enhancing the customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a visionary and thought leader in transforming how data is used across markets products and services.
  • Owning the development and delivery of product data to support strategic business objectives, advanced analytics, metrics, and reporting. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes.
  • Partnering with aligned product owners, technical owners, and data scientists, to drive increased business value through the identification of data required to support advanced analytics outcomes such as customer segmentation and personalization leveraging AI/ML.
  • Providing subject matter expertise with respect to the content and use of data in the product and associated business area.
  • Creating insightful visualizations to show adherence to key performance indicators from diverse complex datasets.
  • Leading the development and implementation of data governance policies and a common metrics model enabling JPMM metrics data to be combined with other data products and services.
  • Influencing resources to resolve identified data issues in a timely manner. Proactively identify gaps in processes, systems or resources that may hinder the business development. Make timely and informed decisions based on thorough analysis, assessment, and markets trend and research.
  • Innovate on new ways to leverage our unique data assets to create new analytics services and products.
  • Managing large scale migration of clients onto the new platform owning segmentation of clients to be onboarded.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Understanding of how to use data to drive business value leveraging a range of analytical tools (e.g. SQL, Python)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing/deploying AI/ML models at scale and in the use of data visualization tools and data analysis software.
  • Adept use of business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau/Alteryx.
  • Experience in a team lead role within a data-driven organization and track record of working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Product Manager in banking or financial industry.
  • Analytical mindset to ensure we commercialize the products that deliver value.
