Job responsibilities

  • Creation of user stories with very clear description and greater level of detail including input and output fields, different use cases, and implement requirement engineering standard techniques/approaches
  • Maintaining a groomed, healthy, and prioritized product backlog (for at least 2 sprints), enabling teams to pick up stories efficiently and effectively
  • User engagement, process & workflow analysis, and data analysis are essential elements in our design process. The role will have significant connectivity with Upstream Data Providers. Product & Production Mgmt. Teams.
  • Engage with Architect and tech leads to ensure that requirements are sufficiently communicated enabling technical design, estimation, and build.
  • Write SQL queries for data analysis of the existing models and business flows
  • Mapping functional requirements to components, enabling a common solution design across the platform

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in a business analyst or equivalent role in understanding business requirement
  • Experience in managing senior business stakeholders in global context
  • Proficiency in business applications, data usage, and management
  • Experience with SQL and data management knowledge
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Product and Engineering Teams to understand the engineering roadmap and strategy
  • Document requirements and propose solutions
  • Well versed with JIRA or similar agile project management software creating stories, tracking story progress, etc.
  • Hands on experience in the functional design of complex enterprise systems
  • Detailed understanding & experience with software development frameworks like AGILE is desired
  • A commercial mind-set to deliver short, medium, and long-term strategies to achieve sustained efficiency; an innovative thought process; focus on simplification
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, SQL Developer, MS Visio is desired
  • Experience in software related to Resiliency Management or Business Continuity Plan or Operational Risk is desired
