As Deal Service Project Manager Senior Associate in Change & Transformation team, you will manage and deliver Deal Services change agenda programs, working closely with a broad set of stakeholders to ensure successful deliveries.

The Investment Banking and Corporate Banking Deal Services team (‘Deal Services’) is a member of the Digital Banking organization in the Commercial and Investment Bank. We partner closely with product and coverage bankers as well as external and internal stakeholders, including clients and client legal counsels, credit, legal, compliance and business management to provide ecient and timely support with the execution of corporate finance and lending deals. We are in the process of building out critical capabilities and processes to enable us to provide an excellent client experience to bankers and J.P. Morgan’s clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages, delivers and embeds Deal Services programs and projects of all sizes to support the delivery of the future state vision
  • Supports the development of the roadmap and its ongoing evolution aligned to the strategic objectives and the Digital Banking Operations agenda, optimizing operations through digital experiences, factoring in the global scale of our business
  • Conducts business analysis, including process mapping and user interviews to define flows, pain points and needs
  • Applies design thinking to challenge the status quo and support customer centric problem solving
  • Uses data to support data informed decision making, and propose change solutions to address business challenges, needs, gaps and improve the overall experience of our customers and clients
  • Contributes to achieving the teams strategic global and regional objectives with a focus on outcomes and benefits realization
  • Maintains and enhance the program operating model, and support effective program reporting including the measurement of performance using the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework
  • Builds productive connections across the organization to collaborate and ensure the right solutions are delivered successfully
  • Monitors industry trends and share insightful reports and analysis with the broader team and with senior executives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven experience in relevant project/product/program management as well as management consulting experience
  • Must be comfortable with working independently
  • Entrepreneurial spirit & ability to wear many hats with minimal direction
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery process
  • Strong problem solving, collaboration, communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Must be able to prioritize workloads, multitask, and react quickly to consistently changing business expectations
  • Strong multi-disciplinary collaboration skills - working closely with technology and design
  • Comfortable with Design Thinking framework, lean start up and familiarity with user-centered practices, UX design and product ideation
  • Data analytics skills covering as a basis, but not limited to, excel, Alteryx, Tableau for business analysis
  • Data literacy and able to engage and collaborate with AI, Machine Learning partners on projects
  • Familiarity with JIRA and agile project management methodology; comfortable with managing delivery of functionality and features through development and design sprints

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with Corporate Finance products (Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Acquisition & Leveraged Finance) is a plus
  • Project Certification (PMBOK, Agile PM, or similar)
