As a Collateral Management Operational Automation Manager - Associate in the Collateral Services team, you will be responsible of designing, building and implementation of Intelligent Automation Solutions to support Collateral Operations daily BAU processes. You will also perform training and provide support for Intelligent Automation Solutions whilst keeping up to date with new automation tools and updates

Job responsibilities

  • Takes ownership of the Intelligent Automation Solutions book of work across Collateral Services Operations to drive and deliver operational efficiencies
  • Performs operations oversight of BRD Requirements linked to system upgrades and developments in partnership with CM Change & Product Development Teams
  • Performs testing of new system implementations through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that initial build requirements are achieved
  • Performs Custodian and Broker Testing for new Client onboards within CM to ensure go live readiness
  • Partners with internal stakeholders across Agency Collateral to drive process enhancements and strategic system implementations
  • Reviews and understands business requirements, then determines feasibility of development, with one or more tools from the digital toolkit. The primary focus will be on opportunities using UiPath and Alteryx
  • Undertakes scripting and development of requirements in coordination with the business, with one or more tools from the digital toolkit in accordance with lifecycle methodology and risk and control guidelines. This includes raising relevant requests, performing Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Undertakes change management/maintenance of requests for existing builds, where required
  • Coordinates and communicates with the business and appropriate technology teams, to ensure on-time completion of projects as per requirements
  • Performs root-cause analysis and provide technical trouble-shooting on current and existing builds
  • Partners with teams in other locations to support development work across Collateral Services Operations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent – education within subjects relating to finance favorable – e.g. Maths, Economics etc
  • Experience using Intelligent Automation Solutions tools including Alteryx, Tableau and UiPath is an advantage
  • Experience within Collateral or Derivatives is favorable but not essential
