The role is within Business Enablement & Transformation team that runs the key operating functions of Technology Product lines including target operating model, workforce strategy, communications and talent management.

The role is primarily focused on the Application Integration & Streaming (AIS) product line within Infrastructure Platforms, which enables integration among services, components and applications providing capabilities to support analytics and data management use cases. AIS consists of 300+ people and 35+ products.

The successful candidate should be data-obsessed and can collaborate across the organization to share information and ensure alignment with cross-organizational initiatives

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare effective executive reporting materials with data visualizations and concise messaging of relevant points with a data-driven mindset
  • Drive the book of work for the product line ensuring completeness and accuracy of estimates, utilising bank-mandated tools such Jira Align, ServiceNow
  • Establish data models, automation and best practices with the goal of scaling up to other product lines in Infrastructure Platforms
  • Support firm-wide governance processes such as Monthly Business Review (MBR), Quarterly Business Review (QBR), Priority setting, making well informed and thoughtful recommendations for process improvement
  • Track Headcount and labour budgets to target, while periodically monitoring organizational health metrics such as span of controls, autonomous reporting, job family distribution etc
  • Interpret and utilize employee headcount data to validate proposed decisions
  • Help drive strategic and operational initiatives that are critical to long term organizational growth e.g. location strategy
  • Build strong relationships at the executive level while performing these tasks

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BS/BA degree, preferably in STEM, Economics, Accounting or Business Management
  • Strong data analysis, logical reasoning and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience in BI tools such as Tableau is a strong bonus
  • Experience in Resource Management; Organizational and/or Operational Change Management; Portfolio Management; Process Improvements; Dashboard creation
  • Attention to details and ability to re-prioritize based on changing demands and environment
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
