As a Global Credit and Fixed Income Cash Operations Lead - Executive Director in the Global Credit and Securities Middle Office (MO) you will work with our business stakeholders to deliver trade processing, drive scalable solutions, strengthening the controls environment, managing people agenda in addition to key priorities, define expected project outcomes, and co-ordinate with technology partners to deliver solutions. You will partner extensively with the Business, Middle / Back Office, Legal & Compliance, Audit, Technology, Regulatory Reporting and Controls teams. You will work independently, but as part of a wider cross-location team. Consequently, you will have a chance to use your excellent leadership skills, proven people management, strong project management and delivery skills, as well as the ability to co-ordinate solutions to complex issues, and excellent communication. .

Global Credit MO mission is to drive impactful transformation across Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Market Operations in a collaborative, disciplined and commercial manner. The Global Fixed Income, Credit, SPG, Emerging Markets and Fixed Income Financing (FICC) MO team is a dynamic, data driven, global and diverse organization with presence across North America, LATAM, UK, India and SE Asia. The team is responsible for supporting the business for Trade processing, Reconciliations, Strategic Programs, Driving Digital Tools delivery, New Business and Business Expansion delivery & Continuous Business Improvement. It partners extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Regulatory as well as playing a significant lead for our overall Client Strategy. Our Tech agenda develops and delivers a wider range of offerings to support our businesses, offering both firm wide solutions and bespoke business applications.

Job responsibilities

  • Manages day to day trade processing, reconciliation and control framework for the Global Credit MO, London for Credit derivatives & FI cash products
  • Partners closely with Technology teams to drive resolution
  • Collaborates with Business & Operations stakeholders to manage the information flow and delivery of key project milestones
  • Communicates regular written and verbal updates to stakeholders. Implements and maintain project trackers and weekly scorecards
  • Manages risk effectively through appropriate escalation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven leadership of line management for derivatives and/or FI Cash products in the financial industry with project management experience in utilizing recognized project methodology frameworks, including objectives and key results (OKR) framework
  • Experience building strong relationships within a short time period and leveraging relationships to lead and influence direction across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrable track record in leading multiple complex and challenging pieces of work to firm deadlines
  • Ability to successfully lead under pressure across regions, time-zones, businesses, and functions with demonstrably strong communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including attention to detail and the ability to succinctly communicate complex issues to audiences at all levels with appropriate presentation materials
  • Ability to pivot leadership to quickly adapt to evolving internal/external factors that can influence day to day BAU
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Confident to challenge business and technology requirements and solutions respectively
  • Prior Investment Banking experience, preferably in a Middle Office / Projects role with derivative and fixed income products
