Job Summary:

As a Vice President in the Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS), part of the Securities Services business, provides Asset Managers post-trade execution services designed to support institutional investors in today's complex global markets. IMOS leverages JP Morgan’s markets expertise, trading technology, and provider connectivity to manage the transaction and position lifecycle across asset classes and generate real-time investment data. The IMOS product encompasses a multi-asset class offering, including securities, futures and options, derivatives, private assets, etc. and offers a great opportunity for career development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent IMOS Product Development during the various stages of the onboarding process directly with the client, from post-mandate win through to go live. This client facing part of the role will:
    • Act as a key point of contact for clients during detailed end-to-end operating model discussions to determine whether the platform meets their onboarding needs
    • Lead client discussions on a joint design where platform change is required, providing thought leadership and strategic vision as well as guidance on the product offering and market standards
    • Oversee change management process across all EMEA clients
    • The lead will also play a role partnering with product management to enable client retention and strategic new business growth
  • Delivery coordination with subject matter expertise teams designing and implementing new products for the IMOS offering, ensuring:
    • Provide comprehensive expertise to clients, understanding and engaging on the offering and platform end to end
    • Enable the subject matter expert leads and team members for optimal delivery and strategy design
    • Engage the organisation and partner with product, operations, technology and project management teams to execute on appropriate client deliveries
    • Responsible for following platform enhancements through the delivery lifecycle through from design through to delivery/testing and release, and keeping relevant stakeholders informed
    • Provide thought leadership on new product opportunities and the next generation of outsourced middle office capabilities and new technology opportunities

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge of middle office functions across a broad range of asset classes, previous experience in a middle office operational, product development, or product position a plus
  • Experience in a client facing role negotiating and partnering with clients to align to best practices and strategically solution to their needs
  • Analytical skills, problem solving, strong critical thinking and decision-making skills based upon fact and business/industry knowledge
  • Excellent at influencing and negotiating, while also developing and maintaining collaborative relationships both internally and with clients
  • Organized and able to deconstruct a project into achievable deliverables, overseeing the tracking and management of those deliverables
  • Strong communication skills in all forms, verbal and written
  • Ability to drive an agenda and consensus across multi-functional and cross-regional teams
