Role Description

The Personal Lines Broker Marketing team are currently seeking an experienced B2B Communications and Engagement Executive on a 12-month fixed term contract.

As the Communications and Engagement Executive you’ll be working within a friendly B2B marketing team and play a key role in delivering the communication and engagement strategy for the Broker business.

Working alongside the Marketing Communications Manager, this role involves developing and delivering marketing and service communications and campaigns, understanding analytics to drive continuous improvement, and developing good working relationships with internal stakeholders. You’ll also have the confidence to take ownership of your key areas of responsibility along with involvement in a variety of other marketing related ad-hoc projects to support the team.

Your focus:

  • Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver the Personal Lines B2B communication and engagement strategy.

  • Deliver innovative, creative and engaging internal and external B2B communication, through a variety of activities and channels, that support our overall strategy and are in line with our values, brand and tone of voice.

  • Design, develop and deliver value add B2B campaigns that support business growth and development plans.

  • Produce high quality and engaging internal and external content that is aligned with our brand and complements wider Group strategic aims and PR activities.

  • Evaluate communication and engagement MI, working collaboratively with the digital marketing team to optimise content and increase performance of our channels.

  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to understand the business strategy, share insight, plan and deliver creative marketing communications.

  • Maintain a keen awareness of competitor activity in the industry, producing regular reports on our competitive marketing positioning.

  • Be a ‘Communication Champion’ offering support, best practice guides and training to other members of the team and the wider business.

  • Project manage and deliver other ad-hoc marketing projects and activities as required.

About you

No day is the same so we’re seeking a self-starter, someone who can hit the ground running and be empowered to make a difference from day one. You’ll have strong copywriting, campaign management, organisational and interpersonal skills to manage the day-to-day activities, as well as support the team with new initiatives and projects. In addition, you’ll demonstrate the ability to think laterally and come up with creative and innovative ideas across a variety of channels as well as a professional and can-do attitude.

You’ll need previous experience of working in a multi-media marketing/communications role and a proven track record of delivering innovative marketing plans with a creative and analytical mind. Ideally, you’ll be A-Level qualified standard and have CIM Post-Graduate Diploma.

Our office with flex model means that you will have the opportunity to work from home as well as the office. As a hybrid worker you will be in the office between 2 and 16 days per month depending on individual and business need. This will be discussed at interview stage.
