Senior Traffic Engineer
We are currently looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team based in our London office.

This is a full-time permanent role, hybrid working with 2 – 3 days in the office.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
  • To support senior staff, providing technical support for a wide range of project types and consultancy commissions.
  • Provide weekly monitoring information against key indicators.
  • Ensure all project files are up to date and comply with the QA system
  • Liaise with other Project Centre disciplines and staff.
  • Check output produced by more junior staff in terms of reports/drawings etc.
  • Assist in developing Quality Assurance systems and procedures in the service area.
  • Respond to client and customer enquiries taking messages, when necessary and ensuring that their needs are met.
Person Specification
  • Relevant Degree or HND/HNC in engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Membership of a professional institution e.g., MIHE, MICE or MCIHT or aiming towards.
  • Good understanding of highways and traffic engineering techniques and principles.
  • Experience in traffic / highway design and/or delivery.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD relating to traffic and highways design (for example traffic sign and lining design)
  • Familiarity with TMA 2004 and other relevant legislation and design standards
  • Understanding of CDM and Health and Safety.
