The role sits in the Vendor Alliance team who are responsible for the day-to-day relationship, management, and engagement of a select number of Softcat's top vendor partners. The Vendor Alliance team ensures that we have the best partnerships at all levels of Vendor engagement, driving consistent, proactive, and collaborative message into Softcat.

Become an essential part of our Microsoft Operations Team

This individual will be responsible for providing operations assistance across both corporate and public sector customers through the full life cycle of a Microsoft agreement.

As a Microsoft Operations Executive, you'll be responsible for:

  • Day to day management of the Microsoft Operations inbox, supporting with internal and external requests
  • Liaising with Microsoft Account Managers, Operations and the Licencing teams
  • Setting up small to large agreement contracts and validating Microsoft Agreements
  • Supporting customers throughout their entire lifecycle including contracts, agreement set ups, post sales licensing and portals
  • Communicating with Softcat Account Managers, ensuring orders are placed correctly and on-time
  • Facilitating with CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) queries

What we need from you

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for providing extremely high levels of customer service
  • An interest in technology and becoming an expert in Microsoft solutions
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Be able to work on their own as well as part of the team
