About the role

Base Location: Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness or Glasgow

Salary: £53,100 - £79,700 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The key responsibilities of the Operations Completions & Warranties Project Manager are:

- You will have responsibility for managing various projects deliverables and ensuring that their outcome is beneficial to assist the Operations Team deliver their portfolio of works. Ensure project deliverables are in line with what was originally designed and that they comply with current Operational and Safety standards.

- You will develop strategies for collaborating with internal stakeholders to guarantee that Operations have their say at all gates of the project lifecycle.

- You will be a key part of the Transmission Operations Management Team, responsible for closure of any warranty works that arise post gate 5 and work closely with the Contractor to achieve this goal.

- You will develop key KPIs to monitor the performance of contractors post gate 5 and develop strategies to capture Transmission costs and ongoing risks associated with the remedial works during warranty periods.

- You will conduct regular site inspections and ensure that contractors and internal stakeholders are meeting the established Health and Safety criteria such as CDM and ESQC Regulations.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- In depth knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and licence requirements.

- Detailed operational knowledge of the technical and safety requirements of an electricity network including outage management.

- Commercial acumen and the ability to conduct commercial negotiations to fulfil objectives.

- Challenging the "status quo" to propose imaginative, appropriate solutions, and implement innovative business improvements.

- Lateral thinking with ability to ask open questions, consider all options & make informed decisions.
