About the Role

Base Location: Flexible UK, however our preference is that you'll be based at one of our key sites which include but is not limited to Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Reading & Havant.

Salary: £55,200 - £83,000 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

As Lead Onshore Consents Manager, you'll provide support to one of the largest portfolio of offshore wind projects in the UK and Ireland. With some locations at critical points in their development cycle, it will provide the opportunity to engage in strategic conversations throughout the SSE Renewables project pipeline.

This specific role will be aligned to Dogger Bank D Offshore Wind Farm, which is entering an exhilarating new chapter of what will be the largest offshore wind development in the world.

As a key part of the team, some of your main accountabilities will include;

- Executing the consent strategy and project management for all onshore elements required to achieve development consent for the Dogger Bank D Project.

- Leading and supporting the development of the Onshore Consent Manager.

- Management of consultants and liaison with the wider consents and project team.

- Providing consenting advice and managing onshore consenting risk for complex workstreams.

- Lead engagement with key external stakeholders.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience of onshore consenting, and a good understanding of the Development Consent Order process. Knowledge of offshore wind would be beneficial, but it's not essential.

- The ability to proactively address risks, collaborate with colleagues, consultants and stakeholders to drive viable solutions to ensure project success.

- An innovative and solutions driven mindset when addressing consenting challenges.

- Proven success in leading and motivating team members to enable project delivery.
