You’ll have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, overseeing reception and security operations. Holding an up-to-date Front Line SIA License, including door supervision, is essential for maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the safety of our premises and personnel. Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office or Google Docs is desired for efficient administrative tasks, enabling smooth communication and documentation within the team. Experience with IT systems for access control, site patrolling, and emergency responses is a definite advantage, as it streamlines security protocols and enhances response times in critical situations.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a committed, devoted and hardworking individual to take on a new Security & Reception Supervisor position. You’ll be managing and developing a team of Security and Front of House individuals ensuring the best experience for all visitors and employees.

We deliver progress. What you’ll do and how you will make an impact…

  • Oversee reception activities to ensure phones are manned and answered in a timely and courteous fashion

  • Ensuring all front of house processes such as post and courier services are running smoothly and efficiently

  • Use of systems for access control, site patrolling, emergency responses

  • Ensure surveillance and monitoring of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, fire alarm and intruder alarm systems are managed and maintained correctly

  • Ensure procedures are in place for the control and issue of keys / passes

  • Emergency Services Liaison and responsible for any familiarisation visits

  • Lead on first aid and fire safety response including first aid stocks, fire safety equipment and any PPE requirements

  • Instigate call-out procedure in the event of a Major Incidents

  • Management and operation of the car park enforcement procedures

  • Providing routine investigations and reports which are compiled in a timely manner and to a consistent standard

  • Support on people / travel safety procedures and point of contact for emergency care

  • Ensure the security and reception teams have regular training updates and ensure all security staff are SIA Licensed and oversee the SIA licence renewal process

  • Responsibility for dawn raid training and support on processes and procedures around dawn raid events

  • Work closely with the Cyber Security team on audits and procedures as well as carry out physical audits of our sites

  • Work closely with the reception team supporting their security knowledge, best practice and security guidance
