Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. This 200-acre secure site has half a million square feet of stage space, production offices and workshops together with an exterior filming tank, one of the largest indoor heated underwater filming tanks in Europe and a 100 acre back-lot. WBSL has some of the largest sound stages in the UK and is proving to be a very popular facility for production clients.

WB Leavesden Park, adjacent to the Studio, offers modern and flexible office space for Production Companies. The site also has its own, on-site Set Lighting & Rigging rental division, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding and production supplies for stage and location shoots.

These facilities make Warner Bros. Entertainment the only Hollywood studio to own and operate a production and post-production facility in the UK.

Your New Role...

You will be responsible for supporting the Production security team during prep, shoot & strike across all UK productions, both on location and in-studio; spending a considerable amount of time on set working as the liaison with 3rd party contracted production security providers ensuring that staffing, service levels and response to incidents are in keeping with WBD policies. You will be attending tech scouts and be the first point of contact for Locations and Production office to address daily security matters, alongside attending UK publicity events as a security operator.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Engaging daily on WBD productions to ensure staffing levels, service and responses are appropriate.
  • Maintain contracted database for 3rd party security providers.
  • Review weekly invoices are in line with staffing and raise any issues directly with the Production office for investigation.
  • Assist in maintaining assignment instructions and SOPs relevant to each location.
  • Assist with premieres and production events, escorting talent, offering a security presence at junkets, assisting and presenting as a security concierge role at various careers days and influencer events.
  • Adhoc close protection duties, assisting with escorting cast and crew throughout various productions, premieres and events.
  • Working as an advance-party, arriving at restaurants and after-parties prior to the guests’ arrival to implement security plan and be the WBD presence overseeing contracted guarding services.
  • Undertake security review of Cast and crew residences, asset storage and adhoc locations
  • Support role with first line investigations on productions.

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • Experience working on Productions both in studio and on-lot
  • Experience providing security on public facing events
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • SIA licence holder including door supervisor/close protection/CCTV. (if you don't already hold one - training can be provided for this on the job)
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required.
  • Available to travel overseas if required.
  • Driving licence.
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
