Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.

  • If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.
  • If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory and industry requirements, and standard concepts, practices, and procedures as they relate to the insurance industry
  • Solid technical understanding of implementing services with third party platforms
  • Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Ability to establish and develop effective relationships with internal and external partners
  • Broad knowledge of Aflac products and systems related to enrollment facilitation
  • Strong knowledge of assigned enrollment platforms and their technical capabilities for Aflac’s products
  • Strong knowledge of technical file/product requirements needed to process files
  • Strong knowledge of compliance language and evidence of insurability requirements, including technologies that support these requirements

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in In a related field
  • 5 - 6 years of related work experience

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Education & Experience Preferred

  • Experience developing and implementing associate and partner scorecards and strong working knowledge of performance measurement concepts
  • Strong working knowledge of Aflac Group product portfolio, systems, operational process and industry practices

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages new and evolving contract relationships, and ensures that third party platform/vendor objectives and results align with Aflac’s business needs and growth goals; works directly with assigned partners to create growth strategies; creates optimal platforms for third party integration requests, if new integration development is required
  • Defines and manages the frontline performance management process for TPA business partner relationships ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures, in addition to federal and state regulations
  • Executes partner onboarding activities as needed to include but not limited to: partner underwriting offers, coordination of collateral needed for master build packages, sales support needs
  • Actively participates in stewardship and partner performance reviews; develops, updates, and maintains accurate and complete vendor profiles, documentation of processed transactions, and materials regarding administrative support
  • Acts as a point of contact for the sales organization as it relates to non-client specific platform questions
  • Ensures compliance reviews are scheduled and completed on time; ensures governance and regulatory requirements are adhered to
  • Manages new product implementations and supports the contracting process of new platforms; participates in new platform discovery calls to vet vendor needs and system capabilities
  • Holds discovery sessions and onboards new partners, including all contracting; partners with other Aflac business units in fee negotiations as applicable; manages and maintains contract updates; ensures appropriate contracts in place prior to case level implementation
  • Performs other duties as required

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $145,000.
