The mission of the role is to support the creation Aristocrat’s Interactive’s Global Financial Planning and Reporting team and create the tools, reporting suite, and financial infrastructure to effectively monitor, report, and partner with the business.

This role works primarily with the Aristocrat Interactive Commercial Finance Teams and Central Business functions to business partner and create & maintain a financial reporting suite highlighting data trends and anomalies as well as being a key partner to the Aristocrat Interactive Global Finance team. We are seeking a technical, creative, and self-motivated individual who is a team player.

The role is operational where the key outcomes are to:
  • Support the Global Aristocrat Interactive organization to meet strategic goals and deliverables.
  • Responsible for supporting the leadership team in interpreting financial data to track against financial objectives.
  • Provision of commercial reports and management information that enable analysis, recommendations, and review of actions for business opportunities, projects, and gap closure.
  • Partner with the broader Aristocrat Interactive Finance organization to build robust reporting tools and provide superior service to business partners/internal clients
  • Including a line of business dashboards, KPIs, and expense management reporting
  • Servicing business partners with regular and ad-hoc analysis of information to provide insight into relevant business drivers.
  • Providing objective and relevant analysis and modeling to support the development of budgets, quarterly forecasts, and business plans.

    The outlook of the role is primarily internal. Internally the role must work collaboratively with the Aristocrat Interactive Finance leads, global accounting teams, and corporate Group Finance.

    What You'll Do

  • Build, run, and maintain existing monthly reporting packages to ensure a consistent operating rhythm
  • Modify and develop new reports to deliver enhanced information and insights
  • Influence Data and Insights teams to build appropriate dashboarding solutions for the Aristocrat Interactive organization and drive implementation
  • Implement reporting best practices and automation into existing reports
  • Create timely and insightful data sources to facilitate decision-making
  • Collaborate with Aristocrat Interactive finance segment leads to identify reporting gaps and create solutions
  • Build relationships with a dedicated BI team to facilitate open sharing of work product
  • Generate profitability reporting that can lead to internal customer self-service
  • Perform financial modeling duties to support business case analysis
  • Document processes to create a sustainable reporting environment
  • Other ad hoc projects as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • Minimum Five years experience in finance-related data reporting, business intelligence, or related
  • Advanced skillset in:
    • SQL
    • At least one of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, or a similar BI dashboard tool
  • Preferred experience (not required), any of:
    • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros
    • Data transformation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, etc.
    • TM1, HFM, Anaplan (or similar corporate reporting cube environment)
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
    • SAP Concur
    • Python, Java, C++, C#, R
    • SSRS Web Portal
  • Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and be team-oriented
  • Able to understand and leverage Accounting standards when reviewing internal reporting
  • Familiar with standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field
  • Able to work with a wide range of data sources including multiple ERP systems and legacy environments
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required
  • Must possess a high level of personal and professional accountability and be able to enlist the cooperation of peer groups involved in common business goals and objectives
  • Ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently changing priorities

Pay Range

$82,933 - $154,018 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
