About the Role
Provide ongoing coaching and support to Managers, Leads and individual contributors in applying and sustaining BHP Operating System (BOS) practices, tools, and methods, and embed core routines and behavioural change to deliver value and sustain BOS.
- Conduct diagnostic and design work; assess, prioritise, and prepare focus areas and activities within the function with focus on unlocking value (quality, efficiency & culture)
- Role model BOS principles and use of tools to reinforce new ways of working that drive the planned business impact
- Build team capabilities and foster the development of teams to achieve performance objectives
- Deliver group training for key initiatives as part of ongoing staff development
- Collaborate with other deployment team members to implement and sustain BOS
- Reports to the Legacy Assets BOS Lead
About You
- Experience coaching and implementing continuous improvement tools
- Assessing capability and providing critical feedback
- Experience with business improvement methodology related to BHP Operating Systems, Six Sigma, or equivalent
- Ability to sustainably implement continuous improvement behaviours
- Project Management experience
Recommended:
- Experience implementing and sustaining BOS tools (including 5S, standardised work, leader standard work, A3 problem solving, value stream mapping, visual management and ‘Go and Sees’.)
- Accredited across all core BOS training modules or equivalent
