Summary
This position is responsible for administrative support to the accounting office by assisting the Title Clerk, Billing Clerk, and AR/AP to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while satisfying Carter Motors policies. Our accounting office support four rooftops which provide more opportunities for growth and development.
Schedule - Full-Time, flexible scheduling. 4-10's or 5-8's with flexible start times available

Pay - $23 - $25 an hour DOE

Responsibilities
  • Files accounting work, correspondence, and other records.
  • Prepares and records invoices, receipts, bills, policies, statements, and checks.
  • Processes dealer trades and wholesale vehicles.
  • Follows safeguarding policy to ensure proper use and storage of customer PII.
  • Performs clerical duties for the dealership business office.
  • Answers overflow incoming phone calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner.
  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold.
  • Composes and prepares routine correspondence.
  • Orders/purchases supplies.
  • Maintain a professional, calm manner when negotiating with difficult or upset customers.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Contribute to and encourage others to demonstrate a team focused, values based, service culture throughout the company.
  • Contribute to effective operations by providing support where and when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested to assure optimum service levels
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • 10-key and the ability to operate other office equipment
  • Two years of experience in an automotive dealership accounting office is required.
  • Ability to follow directions from several managers
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
  • Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen is required
