What we are looking for

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to become Sales Representatives at Carter Subaru in Ballard. Do you have Customer Service experience with the ability to learn new information quickly? How about a self-starter mentality? We are looking for individuals who have previous sales experience, but not necessarily automotive experience. We will train you to be a success and help you grow a career in Automotive.

Pay - Sales Consultants are paid on a full commission + bonus pay plan with a guarantee of at least 1.5 times minimum wage for all hours worked. New sales consultants can expect to earn a minimum of $60,000 while experienced sales consultants can earn well over $150,000. Responsibilities
  • Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
  • Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
  • Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
  • Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
  • Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day
Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience is required
  • Available to work flexible hours & weekends
  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product in’s & out’s
  • Fantastic communication skills with your customers
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Clean & Clear WA state driving record is required
  • Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen is required
