Responsibilities

Marketing Communications Manager

You are able to center your work with larger goals in mind. You are adept at working with team members across business groups and agencies to deliver a global integrated marketing communication plan.

The Marketing Communication Manager embraces our company’s Marketing principles, is a Microsoft Brand Steward, and drives ongoing improvements in maximizing marketing spend and driving marketing efficiency, and marketing impact.

Responsibilities

As a marketing communications manager, you will manage annual marketing communications priorities and success metrics. You will direct priorities for events and media, public and analyst relations. You will oversee production and deployment of advertising and drive the strategy and execution of digital and social media. You will determine the optimal mix of engagement vehicles for your product, service, or geography. You'll need to be a strategic thinker to ensure execution, risks, and global alignment are optimal.

Partner/Channel Marketing Manager

As a Partner/Channel Marketing Manager you will shape the strategy and manage the execution of programs that drive partner profitability. Partner profitability programs accelerate partner cloud practice development by helping the partners build business plans, develop cloud offers, create go-to-market channels, form new business opportunities, increase partner satisfaction, and strengthen partner loyalty.

Responsibilities

This role bridges internal and external stakeholders to develop and drive channel marketing plans. You will engage directly with partners to drive execution, hold partners accountable for meeting business results, and adapt plans and investments accordingly.
You own the partner ecosystem and channel strategy. We need creative, analytical, and broad thinkers who collaboratively engage with partners to identify and achieve mutually beneficial results. As needed, you will incubate new partner models and deliver a partner gap analysis. You own the partner campaign, program activity delivery, and sales pipeline support.

Product Marketing Manager

You are the key to global marketing. You determine marketing strategy for your area and communicate through marketing plans, product content, and internal and external evangelism.

The Product Marketing Manager understands, orchestrates, and influences campaigns and marketing activities, develops integrated marketing campaigns, and delivers product, solutions and customer campaign feedback to the business. An essential aspect of the role of the Product Marketing Manager is to align the content, timing and delivery of marketing messages and outreach to Microsoft’s customers and partners.

Responsibilities
You play a role throughout the marketing cycle: from positioning, messaging and storytelling to determining and orchestrating global launch plans and identifying market research needs. You also own monitoring our competition and building competitive positioning and response plans.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an MBA degree with at least one quarter/semester to complete after internship.
  • Demonstrated interest in the evolving craft of marketing.
  • Proven aptitude for seeking creative solutions to multi-faceted problems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to influence, inspire, and lead from any role.
