Sales Specialist

Overview 
As a Sales Specialist you identify our customers’ challenges and solve them through the latest software and services solutions. You will be our customers’ trusted consultant, thoroughly evaluating the health of their IT platforms and development environments and diagnosing areas for improvement. Your solutions drive measurable value, helping customers run their businesses more cost-effectively and efficiently and giving them a competitive edge in their marketplace.

Responsibilities
You will build and maintain relationships with executive business and technical decision-makers, articulate and present the business value of Microsoft’s solutions, and develop a firm understanding of Microsoft’s strategies and product offerings relative to our major competitors. 


Partner Development Manager

Overview 
As a Partner Development Manager (PDM), you will act as the daily face of our company to our partner channel. The PDM is accountable for driving performance of a managed portfolio of partners, by business priority, with a primary focus on Microsoft cloud services (O365, Azure and Dynamics 365) and complementary products. The goal is to drive partner recruitment, enablement and business growth based on the partners’ strengths and priorities. The PDM represents Microsoft to our partners, communicates our strategy, sells our vision, and brings partners along in the digital transformation journey. 

Responsibilities
A PDM manages large partners who acquire customers and/or other partners at scale. The role is responsible for the overall partner relationship, strategic business planning and landing execution across all key priorities. You will use your expertise in marketing, sales and technology right away to coordinate the right resources at the right time to drive mutual success for our partner channel and for Microsoft. You will help partners develop, launch, and grow new products/solutions/practices in the market. 


Commercial Executive  
  
Overview  
As a Commercial Executive (CE) you provide licensing solutions to your customers with a focus on Microsoft volume licensing programs. You work closely with multiple sales disciplines including Account Executives, Business Development, Buy and Legal service desks. Outside of Microsoft you will build and maintain relationships across customers' purchasing, business sponsors and technical lead to provide modern and robust licensing solutions.   

Responsibilities 
Your role will include negotiating agreement terms and conditions, being the single point of contact for internal and external sales contracts and licensing issues, while supporting developing pricing scenarios and cost/benefit analyses. Successful CE’s deliver customer-centric licensing that ultimately reduce the complexity of doing business with Microsoft while fueling their ability to execute on their digital transformation agenda.   


Customer Success Manager


Overview 
The Customer Success Manager (CSM) role will enable our customers to realize business value from their investment and make our customers passionate advocates of Microsoft.  The CSM will collaboratively drive change management and adoption activities with key Business Decision Makers, help reduce implementation risk, drive usage of existing workloads, and identify opportunities in their accounts. The CSM is also a key part of our customer facing sales teams and will be called on frequently to leverage their deep knowledge of CRM or ERP to support sales growth. 

Responsibilities  
This is an exciting role that will drive usage and consumption of customer owned workloads that will create bonds with our Enterprise customers and will fuel customer success, retention, growth, renewal and inoculate us against the competition.  Your work will be focused on helping our customers achieve more by clearly defining business outcomes to build a high quality "success plan" inclusive of customer objectives, stakeholders, milestones, risks and metrics needed.  You will drive adoption at your customer by creating end-user excitement.  You will build, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with Business Decision Makers (BDMs) within each customer to influence adoption.  You will also represent the technical "Voice of the Customer" within Microsoft to inform and influence engineering, and document business-value driven customer success stories and shared practices. 

Qualifications

General qualifications for sales roles include: 

  • Strong desire and business acumen for consultative solution selling
  • Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills
