Onboarding Program Manager
Come join the Worldwide Learning Role-based Onboarding team as an Onboarding Program Manager. Onboarding is a core business priority to strengthen the foundation of our employees in MCAPS (Microsoft Customer and Parter Solutions). As the Program Manager of Onboarding for Azure Core, you will play a key role within a team that’s creating best-in-class, role-based onboarding experiences for our sales teams. The team is doing this by evaluating and improving existing onboarding offerings with a goal to deliver high impact, world-class onboarding experiences at scale; through new content, new modalities and new delivery methods. We are looking for a highly capable program manager to lead our partnership with Microsoft’s sales business organization and help develop and run their onboarding programs. The ideal candidate has highly relevant experience collaborating across teams and delivering high impact, complex programs.

- Manage all aspects of the onboarding program for Worldwide Learning for relevant audiences by identifying organizational needs, securing resources, communicating with senior stakeholders, and prioritizing work
- Collaborate with business partners in the Specialist Technical Unit (STU) and Customer Success Unit (CSU) organizations by aligning and adapting existing team practices, processes and tools and innovating new solutions as needed
- Contribute to our WWL onboarding toolkit and playbook through a build-for-scale approach
- Represent sales roles in existing and new virtual onboarding programs within our portfolio differentiating curriculum and experiences for maximum learner impact
- Develop and maintain strong communications and relationships across your business partners and stakeholder community
- Drive innovation and experimentation into onboarding programs to drive high levels of engagement and efficacy with our learners
- Use data to prioritize analyses to execute on, define capability gaps for the business, improve benchmarking, and execute on learning priorities through learner-centric methodology
- Embrace uncertainty, take risks, and learn quickly from mistakes while looking to achieve more through technology and innovation

- Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND/OR 2+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, HR, customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management
- OR Master's Degree or equivalent AND/OR 1+ year(s) experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, quota management, human resources (HR), customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management
- OR equivalent experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND 6+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, HR, customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management
- OR Master's Degree or equivalent AND 4+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, human resources (HR), customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management
- OR equivalent experience
- Microsoft Fundamentals, Coaching (e.g., International Coaching Federation), Project and/or Program Management Professional, archival, or a similar certificate
- Demonstrates commitment to career development and continuous or consistent learning through formal and informal efforts (e.g., change management, design thinking, management training, online courses)
The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $129,800 - $194,800 USD
At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
