Sales, Field & Operations team is looking for a highly motivated leader who will be responsible for leading the GPS Partner Account Manager community around the world as the Partner Account Manager Global Role leader.

This person will be responsible for building strong sales communities, and is at the center of the connection between Core GPS and Field Teams driving a cohesive strategy and execution. This role will be part of the GPS Global Role Lead Team who work together to share community development practices, field practices and more importantly, to ensure field execution is landing in a coordinated way across all roles and motions in all A16.

Responsibilities

The scope of the Device Partner Account Management (PAM) Global Role leader is to drive sales impact with GPS Device PAM leaders and teams in the field by designing PAM roles, operating models across teams, and leading global community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Role Excellence & Guidance for Business Impact:
  • Design PAM roles and attract the best talent and leaders to meet the needs and priorities of the device partner sales account management
  • Design operating models with WW stakeholders to ensure successful WW and regional execution though partner sales motions (sell-in and sell-thru)
  • Educate PAM managers and ICs on RolEx to drive clarity within and outside GPS and connect with GPS execution motions, Solution Areas and key systems and tools
  • Deliver readiness and enable knowledge transfer across areas to maximize business results for customers, partners and Microsoft
  • Develop coaching practices for PAM managers to ensure field role impact and success
  • Deliver thought leadership with teams based on learning, feedback and knowledge about competitors, to keep evolving business impact
  • Lead the PAM Community:
  • Create strong PAM communities with clarity of charter, goals and culture
  • Optimize PAM impact through connection with key stakeholders within and outside GPS
  • Collect and scale field best practices. Direct business field asks, processes and Tools improvement aligned to business objectives

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred:

  • Relevant experience in sales leadership
  • Balanced between short term execution and long-term overall business impact with the ability to design and execute an annual plan which successfully uses communication and collaboration tools to foster community, and enables replication and enhancement of sales practices
  • Self-starter with exceptional business judgment and a proven track record of strong partnership skills, building technology solutions promotion and adoption, driving win/win scenarios for all parties involved
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to successfully drive cross-functional stakeholder direction and agreement with a cohesive action planning
  • Ability to communicate and operate at senior levels, bringing key strategies together that facilitate business execution and build successful relationships with key stakeholders and v-teams internally and externally to drive business requirements
  • Work with the field as a community leader and demonstrate ability to influence without direct management to achieve consensus and drive results. Ability to engage, understand and determine the needs of a global community in their execution of worldwide strategy and country specific targets
  • Deep understanding of sales, business driven through partnership and a proven aptitude for seeking third party creative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high pressure / fast paced environments and consistently delivering on expectations
  • Travel requirements ~25%
