Position Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Case Manager specializing in Guaranteed Issue Disability Applications.

The role involves managing the intake and processing of new disability applications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, seamless execution and compliance with company guidelines and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time opportunity with a hybrid schedule, based in our New York City office.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Enter applicant information into the company's database or management system accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate with Advisors to request additional information or clarification as needed.
  • Serve as liaison for our Advisors and insurance carrier representatives to expedite the processing of disability applications.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline disability application procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data security in handling sensitive information related to corporate executive benefits.
  • Facilitate Advisor trainings.
  • Stay current on the Executive Benefit enrollment process.
    • Attend carrier hand off calls
    • Present at Kick Off or HIIT meetings
    • Knowledge of GSI insurance products preferred
  • Work on ad hoc projects as subject matter expert.

The base salary range for this position is $54,000 –$75,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
