Ground Control Business Management, a subsidiary of NFP is hiring a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for assisting with all day-to-day business, personal, and financial matters for assigned clients and entities. This is a full-time position that is required to be onsite on a hybrid basis. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages accounts receivable and accounts payable making sure to do so following company processes and guidelines
  • Tracks all upcoming payments and follows up on any pending open payments as necessary
  • Communicates directly with vendors regarding various client related matters (payments, invoices, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Chart of Accounts (personal and corporation)
  • Monitors daily client activity, handle requests, and conducts timely follow ups on outstanding matters
  • Reviews bank balances daily and funds accordingly
  • Prepares daily and monthly bank reconciliations at the direction of the Account Manager
  • Completes billing timesheets daily
  • Sorts, scans, and processes all incoming mail
  • Prepares and sends outgoing client mail
  • Prepares checks for deposit
  • Downloads monthly payroll reports and records as necessary or instructed by the Account Manager
  • Works closely with business management teams to ensure clean and accurate books
  • Submits and maintains client medical claims
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience with Agillink, or equivalent platform - preferred but not required
  • Accounting degree – preferred but not required
  • Business management experience – preferred but not required

The base salary range for this position is $45,000 – $68,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
