The Marketing Strategy & Planning Team
Okta’s Marketing Strategy & Planning function drives the Marketing strategy formation and planning motion to optimize marketing performance, deliver a strong return on investment and achieve our company objectives.
The Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy & Planning Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy, Planning and Operations, this role will drive our strategy formulation and planning motion. You will partner closely with functional leaders across Marketing and GTM to develop a shared set of priorities, growth strategy and operational plan. You will ensure our strategy is coordinated and cohesive, and supports our company objectives. As a key partner to Marketing leaders, you will act as a liaison between Marketing and the wider GTM teams, including Sales, GTM Strategy & Planning, and Financial Planning teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Spearhead the development of the annual and quarterly Marketing planning process, collaborating across Marketing leadership and wider GTM teams. Apply functional expertise and insights to support the strategy formation and validate alignment to the company objectives with optimal return on investment
- Drive the prioritization of marketing investments and align budget owners on trade-off decisions. Support the creation of an investment framework to quantify business outcomes, resource allocations and prioritization
- Oversee our quarterly business review (QBR) process and deliver insights on Marketing performance in partnership with the Analytics function
- Regularly inform stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, GTM Strategy & Planning of deeply analytical insights on marketing performance to ensure cross functional alignment and drive a data-driven decision strategy. Proactively identify opportunities and prioritize initiatives to drive the business forward
